What is a Team?
A team consists of 2 or more members joining together to participate in the Walk by raising funds and coming out to Walk the Walk in support of global poverty alleviation!

Why join a Team?
Teams are the fastest growing segment of the Walk because they’re a fun and effective way to raise
awareness and funds with the people you know. And anyone can create a team.

What type of team are you?

Colleagues can get together in support of a good cause to create a Corporate team

Parents can get their kids involved from an early age by starting a Tots & Tykes team (0 - 6 yrs)

Get your classmates together to fight global poverty and form a School Team (Grades 1 - 12)

Join forces with fellow students and create a University & College Team

Neighbours, family and friends and community organizations can create a Friends and Family Team

Organize a Team 

Get your team together.  Teams consist of 2 or more members.  You can create a team with colleagues, classmates, friends and family or members of your community.

Register online.  Go to My Fundraising and register as a new or returning participant.  If you create the team you will automatically become Team Captain.  Select your team type.

Set your goal and start raising funds.  Once you've registered online, set a goal for you and your team members and start reaching out for support.

Remember: As a team member you reap the rewards of participating in the Team Challenges and are eligible for great gifts and prizes for Ambassadors.
