Walk Day MC - Lucy van Oldenbarneveld Lucy van Oldenbarneveld anchor’s CBC’s 90 minute local television news program CBC News Ottawa starting at 5 p.m. on weekdays. Her work with CBC has seen her reporting on major stories across the country. She has reported on a number of significant Canadian events, and is involved with providing journalism training in different parts of Africa - most recently in Abuja, Nigeria. Before coming to Ottawa, Lucy was the host/reporter of the afternoon radio show at CBC Whitehorse.

Hunsdeep Rangar
Mr. Rangar has been a pioneer in the Indo-Canadian Community. Starting off as a teenage entrepreneur, he sought to fulfill a niche and founded Divine Entertainment.
Through the past decade, Mr. Rangar organized, hosted and managed a multitude of Business and Cultural events that fostered the creation of a visual landscape for the community in Eastern Ontario.
Between 2000 and 2005, Mr. Rangar emerged as a leader focussed to promote the South Asian presence in Eastern Ontario. He started to compile a database of email addresses from attendees, who were regularly informed of upcoming Socio-Cultural Events of interest, through a weekly e-newsletter.
As the cultural landscape of Eastern Ontario began to change, a new Multicultural media outlet, CHIN Radio entered the market. Mr. Rangar was instrumental in ensuring that the visibility of the South Asian Community would be a priority for the new station.
He created the banner known as Mirch Masala Radio, which encompasses Music, Interviews, Community Events and Topics of Special Interest as part of the Drive Home Show (5-7 PM) on 97.9 FM.

Farahri
Toronto based, International pop sensation Farahri is quickly gaining attention as one of the most sought after singers and performers, for her catchy songs and electrifying stage presence.

She has also shared the stage with some of the industry's most celebrated superstars including, Usher, Chris Brown, Jeremih, Shaggy, Howie D. of the Backstreet Boys, Beenie Man, Elephant Man, Gyptian and Massari.

DJ JUAKALI - Resident DJ
DJ JuaKali has been spinning at corporate events, private parties, clubs, weddings and social events for the past 20 years. His unique background has enabled him to understand and cater his mixes to diverse cultural backgrounds. Ottawa Afro-Fusion Band
Ottawa "Afro-Fusion" Band is a 13 piece Ottawa based band that plays Fela's old repertoire. The band originated from "Fela Night" an annual celebration organize by Jesse Matthews at the Mercury lounge, to celebrate the music and legacy of the late pioneer of Afrobeat music, human rights activist, and political maverick, Fela Kuti. The music was premiered on Broadway from 2008 - 2009, and won a Tony Award in 2010.
Afrobeat is a complex fusion of Jazz, West African High Life, Funk (especially the music of James Brown), psychedelic rock, and traditional West African chants and rhythms.
