Over the last five years, KPMG employees across Canada have supported and participated in the annual World Partnership Walk, Canada's largest event in support of international development. A team of internal champions was able to significantly increase the awareness of Canadians vital link with communities in the developing world.
As a result, the firm's participation has grown from two offices and 40 participants in 2005 to over 10 offices and 326 participants in 2011. These stellar results have been acknowledged by the KPMG Foundation and the firm's senior leadership through a corporate matching gift program, in addition to a sponsored contribution.
