Tots & Tykes Teams are a fantastic way to teach your kids about teamwork and the importance of helping others. Children and their families can create meaningful connections between life in Canada and the lives of children and families in other parts of the world.

It is a chance to discuss the importance of good health and education, and to learn that the steps we take here can have a big impact on the lives of people in other parts of the world. You can never be too young to change the world!

School Teams

Join together to fight global poverty.

Participation Criteria: Students in grades 1 to 12

Learn about global development, engage your school friends, and earn volunteer hours.

By starting a School Team, you will be supporting children and youth just like yourselves to break the cycle of poverty and move towards a brighter future. Your School Team will be helping to create lasting change in communities across Africa and Asia – improving access to education, health, nutritious food and clean water, and the opportunity for all kids to achieve their full potential.

Friends & Family Teams

Join together to fight global poverty.

Make your mark as a community leader and spend quality time with friends and family by working as a team to make a positive impact.

With our busy lives, it can be hard to fulfil our desire to give back – to make a difference in the world – without sacrificing quality time with those closest to us. Friends and Family Teams offer a great way to do both! Joining forces with family members and friends here in Canada through World Partnership Walk will support the ability of families and communities in Africa and Asia to break the cycle of poverty and build brighter futures.

Team challenges, friendly competition, opportunities to learn more about global development, and a great Walk day in your city create a fun, fulfilling experience for you and your loved ones.

University & College Teams

Join together to fight global poverty.

Participation Criteria: University and college students

Contribute to positive global change and show future employers your leadership and teambuilding skills!

Forming or joining a team is a great way to demonstrate your leadership and teambuilding skills, expand your knowledge of global issues, and broaden your social network by connecting with other inspiring change makers in your school community.

The funds raised by your university and college team will bring education to young children, empower women to lead, provide livelihoods and sustainable access to nutrition and bring healthcare to expecting mothers and newborns.
