The World Partnership Walk is a national campaign that requires the talent and dedication of thousands of volunteers – and we have some of the best volunteers in the country.
When you volunteer with the World Partnership Walk, you join an inspiring and passionate group of change makers from across the country who are making a big impact in their communities.
Volunteering with the Walk is a wonderful opportunity to meet new people, learn new skills, and connect to the world through the contribution of your time and talents.
As our volunteers will tell you, the Walk provides not just an opportunity to give, but also to learn, to grow, and to engage as global citizens. The Walk offers many ways for you to apply your unique talents and interests to the fight against global poverty:
Walk Day Volunteers: In 10 cities across Canada, the annual World Partnership Walk campaign concludes with a celebration filled with inspiring performances and music; food; activities for youth, seniors and teams – and of course the Walk itself! Walk Day volunteer roles include stage management, food services, hospitality, first aid, photography, route marshals, youth and public engagement programming.
Fundraising Volunteers: World Partnership Walk Ambassadors, Team Captains and team members inspire and mobilize their communities and networks to join in the fight against global poverty.
World Partnership Walk Leadership Volunteers: We need experienced, highly motivated volunteers to guide the planning and implementation of the Walk in 10 cities across Canada. These leaders build and manage diverse teams – and work closely with the other Walk cities to ensure the national campaign is a success. These volunteers work throughout the year to ensure success!
