Common questions
You can join a team two different ways:
- Click on “Register” and choose the “Join a Team” button. Then search for the team you would like to join and complete the registration process.
- Click on “Donate” and search for the team you’re looking to join, then select the “join team” button from the team page.
If you have trouble retrieving your username and password, click on “Login” at the top of the screen and select Forgot Username and enter the email address used last year. Once you receive this email, you can select the link. If you have forgotten your password and you will be sent an email with a link to reset your password.
Yes! You can donate offline via the following methods:
- By mailing your payment to AKFC in Ottawa. Cheques and money orders must be made payable to: Aga Khan Foundation Canada and mailed to 199 Sussex Drive, Ottawa ON, K1N 1K6. Please ensure to indicate: WPW on the memo line of the cheque.
- By credit card: Donors can contact the Donor Services department, by phone at 1-800-267-2532 x191 or by email at [email protected]
- By contributing publicly listed and traded securities: Donors can contact the Donor Services department, by phone at 1-800-267-2532 x191 or by email at [email protected]

To update your personal information, please login to your participant centre, click on “Profile” from the top navigation, update your personal information, then click on the “Update” button at the bottom. Please note, in order to maintain compliance with the Canada Revenue Agency, returning participants are unable to change their name. If there is a spelling error or adjustment required, please submit a ticket with our help desk or call 1-800-267-2532 x142.
You can update your kilometres goal using the World Partnership Walk mobile application. After logging into the application, scroll down and under “My Activity” you can click on “Edit Goal” to change your current goal.
Login to the World Partnership mobile application and select “Get Active”, then select “Add Activity”. From there you can enter the date, duration, and number of kilometres. When complete, click “Add” to add the activity.
Login to the participant centre, scroll down ad select “Update Media” above the default image to upload a new photo. Please note that images must be a .gif, .jpg, or.png filetype and the maximum dimensions are 680×290 pixels.
This can only be completed by the team captain. As the team captain, login to the participant centre, select “My Team” tab on the bottom half of the page, scroll down ad select “Update photo” above the default image to upload a new photo.
