The 2024 World Partnership Walk
The Ottawa World Partnership Walk is back this spring! Join us in person at the Global Centre for Pluralism on Sunday, June 23, 2024 , and step forward with passionate Canadians dedicated to fighting global poverty. If you can’t join us on Walk Day, you can still participate by walking anywhere with your team, friends, and family, or even on your own.
Whether it’s a team walk in your local park, a stroll with your family around the block, or a 5k at one of our signature Walk Day events – you will be capturing the essence of what the World Partnership Walk has always been about: coming together to fight global poverty and showing the world we are there for them.
Walk Day Event details
Date: Sunday, June 23, 2024
Location: The Global Centre for Pluralism
Time: 9:30 am – 1:00 pm
Walk Schedule:
9:30 am – 10:30 am – Registration
10:30 am – 11:00 am – Opening ceremonies
11:00 am – 11:30 pm – Walk the Walk!
11:30 pm – 12:30 pm – Lunch and Entertainment
12:30 pm – 1:00 pm – Closing Ceremonies
Please note:
Rain or Shine, the Walk is on! Please dress according to the weather conditions and don’t forget to bring a reusable water bottle! There is no onsite parking, but there are paid parking lots and street parking options in the vicinity.
Fundraiser Information
T-Shirts for fundraisers that have raised $250+ are to be picked up on Walk Day after registering.
