The Toronto World Partnership Walk is back this spring! Join us at Downsview Park on Sunday, June 1, 2025, and step forward with passionate Canadians dedicated to fighting global poverty. If you can’t join us on Walk Day, you can still participate by walking anywhere with your team, friends, and family. Together, let’s show the world we are there for them!

Walk Day FAQs

Where is the Toronto World Partnership Walk being held in 2025?

This year’s Toronto World Partnership Walk will be held at Downsview Park (70 Canuck Avenue, North York). The closest major intersection is Keele Street and Sheppard West Avenue.
Festival Terrace will serve as the main event site. It is an open field with relatively flat terrain.
Please note that all activities will be taking place outdoors, in open areas. There will be tents on site, but be ready to celebrate and spend the day outside, rain or shine!

How can I get to Downsview Park?

Car: The Upper Parking Lot (just east of John Drury Drive) is the only parking lot for events at Downsview Park. Parking is $15/vehicle. There are over 1200 spots that are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Subway: Downsview Park Station is located on the north side of the Park and is approximately a 15-minute walk to Festival Terrace.
GO Transit: GO Trains are a fast and convenient way to get to Downsview Park Station. Visit www.gotransit.com for train schedules and more information.
Buses: The Park is transit accessible with multiple buses stopping right at the Park entrances (i.e., 84, 984, 106, 108B, 41, 101).

How long is the Walk route? How easy is it to get through?

The Toronto Walk route will follow Circuit Path, a six-metre-wide paved pathway that can accommodate strollers, walkers and runners. You can choose to complete a single loop of 2.7km, or double up and do it again. There are gentle grade changes, and seating areas periodically along the path.
Note: Circuit Path is fully accessible and AODA compliant. Motorized accessibility devices are allowed if operated under 20 km/h.

What food and drinks will be available at the Walk?

There will be a drinking water station on site. Please remember to bring your reusable water bottles!
Food trucks and other vendors will offer a variety of options for lunch, drinks, and dessert after the Walk.

What are the rules for dogs on site?

All dogs must be kept on a leash, except when inside of the off-leash dog park, Dogsview Park. This enclosed area is inside of Circuit Path.

Washrooms

There will be portable washrooms at Festival Terrace. There are also a few public washrooms in Orchard Pavilion, approximately halfway along the Walk route.
