The Calgary World Partnership Walk is back this spring! Join us at Prince Island Park on Sunday, June 1, 2025, and step forward with passionate Canadians dedicated to fighting global poverty. If you can’t join us on Walk Day, you can still participate by walking anywhere with your team, friends, and family. Together, let’s show the world we are there for them!

  • 10:00am – 11:15am – Opening ceremonies
  • 11:15am – 12:00pm – Walk the Walk!
  • 12:00pm – 2:00pm – Lunch, awards, and entertainment

World Partnership Walk Calgary - FAQs

Where is the Calgary Walk taking place?

The walk will be held at Prince’s Island Park. Please note that this is an outdoor event.
While there will be some tents for seniors, the event will take place rain or shine, so come prepared for the weather.

How long is the walk route?

The main walking route will take approximately 40 minutes to complete —making it perfect for families with young children, individuals using wheelchairs, or anyone looking for a lighter option.

What food will be available?

Enjoy a delicious selection of food including our Signature Partnership Burger, Chips, Mango & Corn, and Drinks. Plus, a traditional African dish Chana Beta which consists of chickpeas and potatoes. All of which will be available for purchase. Please bring your own refillable water bottle as we’ll have plenty of water stations on site.

Are dogs allowed?

Yes, dogs are welcome—just make sure they are kept on a leash at all times.

Will there be washrooms on-site?

Yes, there will be multiple washrooms and hand-washing stations available throughout the park for your convenience.
